Why Give?

As the Apostle Paul said to the Philippian church, so is our heart towards you as you consider giving to support the ministry at Refuge Church: "Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit."

 So why give? Give to guard your heart against the deceitfulness of riches (Mark 4:19). Give because Jesus—who was rich—became poor to bring us to God (Philippians 2:5–11). Give to support the care of your needy brothers and sisters (Acts 2:42–47). Give to support ministers of the Gospel near and far (1 Timothy 5:17–18). Give out of joy at the glory of God's grace (2 Corinthians 9:6–9).

If you're not a Christian, please refrain from giving. We don't want your money; we want you to receive the infinite treasure of Jesus.

Note on Earmarked Giving: Refuge Church respects the intent of givers and will do our best to honor the requested designation of the donors, while retaining discretion over the use of all gifts to support the ministry of the church wherever there is greatest need.
